Sesame Street Turns 40!

Ok, everyone from Gen X and Gen Y knows that Sesame generally had a huge impact on our lives and now our favorite muppets are turning 40! I don't know about you all but it makes me pretty proud that this program is still on the air since it is a piece of truly positive programming for kids everywhere. The message is good, there is not any violence or crude humor and yet kids still flock to Elmo, Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Oscar, Cookie Monster, Grover and others for entertainment and learning.

If you haven't yet, jump over to Sesame Street and remember why you loved this show all over again.

Who am I?! The Sweedish Chef!

Occasionally I think about who I would like to be if I were a muppet and I think I have settled on the Sweedish Chef! Why? Because he does what ever he wants, doesn't care if anyone else understands him while he is doing it and has a hell of a time to doing it to boot.

As I sit here and watch "The Muppets Take Manhattan" I must say that if I can take the same philosophy I'll be happy. I just have to make sure that I can maintain my 10 year old mentality for the rest of my life. This is the only way I can get through the day sometimes.
